I want to make a beautiful gift for my girlfriend this year.
But I also want to do something a little less formal.
A Christmas card.
So, I’ve been thinking about what to do with my cards, and I came up with a simple plan: I’ll send them all to my best friend who’s a card-collecting addict.
I’ll even send him some of the best cards in the world to thank him for helping me save them from being stolen.
The problem is, I know my best friends’ best friends have access to the same cards as mine.
So I need to make sure they’re the ones who get the best ones.
And since I can’t have them all, I’ll have to pay them all individually.
My best friend, who’s also a card collector, told me he’d send me a card to thank me for saving them.
So, I went ahead and got my best card.
He’d get one of the cards from my collection.
Then I’ll mail the card to my girlfriend’s best friend.
Then I’ll do a little extra work to make it perfect for her.
After all of this, I think it’ll look something like this:My best friends best friend and I had planned on getting married in 2019.
But now we’re about to take our vows at the beginning of the year.
So I’ll write this note to my future husband, so he can look me in the eye and say, “Congratulations, my dear.”
