‘Beautiful’ ‘Dancing With the Stars’ star to return to ‘Dances with Wolves’ after cancer diagnosis

LOUISVILLE, Ky.

— Bryce Harper is returning to “Dances With Wolves” after his cancer diagnosis.

The outfielder, who underwent surgery Thursday morning to remove a tumor in his throat, tweeted he was “ready to get back on the court.”

He said the show will continue “after all.”

“I’m ready to get out on the floor and start running and play basketball and everything,” Harper tweeted.

“I love the game so much, but this is all for me.

I’m so excited.

It feels good to get into the show again.

We’ll see.”

Harper, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 colorectal cancer in November, said his family, including his father and brothers, were thrilled to see him back on stage.

“They’re all so excited to see me back on.

It’s just so much fun to be back on a show like this,” Harper said.

“My brother and I are excited, too, because I’ve always wanted to come back.

This is one of the most fun things I’ve ever done.

I think it’s the biggest thing.”

Harbor’s return to “the show” came two weeks after “Dancing with the Stars” announced it was cancelling a season due to his cancer.

“Dancing” has been trying to move forward since its 2013 cancellation.

The show had been expected to air this fall, but has since been pushed back to the spring.
